The terms and conditions stated herein (collectively, this “Agreement”) constitute a legal agreement between you (the “Customer”) and Honeycomb Home Cleaning (the “Company”). By using or receiving any goods or services supplied to the Customer by the Company (together with the website located at https://honeycombhomecleaning.com, collectively, the “Services”), and downloading, installing or using any associated software or mobile or tablet application supplied by the Company, the purpose of which is to enable the Customer to use the Service (collectively, the “Software”), the Customer hereby expressly acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and any future amendments and additions to this Agreement as published from time to time at https://honeycombhomecleaning.com.
The Company reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Agreement or its policies relating to the Service or Website, effective upon posting an updated version of this Agreement at any time at the website URL above.
By using the Services, you state that:

You will comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations; and

If you are using the Services on behalf of a business or some other entity, you also state that you are authorized to grant all licenses set forth in these Terms and to agree to these Terms on behalf of the business or entity.

Cancellations, Schedule Changes, & Skipping a Cleaning
We understand that life happens. At the same time, keeping our cleaning teams scheduled and supported is essential to delivering reliable service. To balance flexibility with fairness, the following policy applies:
Cancellations and Rescheduling We appreciate as much notice as possible. Earlier notice gives us the best chance to adjust schedules and minimize disruption for our team.

More than 48 hours’ notice: No charge

Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the service rate

Same-day cancellation, no-show, or lockout: 100% of the service rate
To help avoid any issues, we send automated appointment reminders at 48 and 24 hours before each cleaning.
Skipped Cleans If a scheduled recurring cleaning is skipped, a 20% fee will be added to the next cleaning. This accounts for additional buildup and the extra time required for our team to deliver the same high-quality results.
Billing Timing All cleanings are charged the morning following service. Any applicable cancellation, rescheduling, or skip clean fees are also charged the morning following the scheduled service date.

Initial Cleaning Estimate
We take many variables into account for deep cleans, move-in/out cleans, and all other first-time cleans. Because estimates are often given over the phone or online, we rely on your accurate description of your home.
If we arrive and the condition is not as described, it may take longer to complete, resulting in a higher cost than the estimate. Conversely, if it takes less time, you will be charged less than the initial quote. Please note that excessive buildup will take extra time; if not disclosed, it will likely increase the final price.
Average Condition Definition Our pricing and “Checklist” apply to properties in Average Condition only. This does not include:

Negligence (e.g., heavily greasy/soiled appliances and floors);

Heavily disorganized homes (e.g., floors covered in clothes, dozens of items on surfaces);

Disposal of boxes, leftover trash, food, and furniture;

Biohazards (e.g., black mold, lead, medical equipment, syringes, broken glass);
-
Pathological waste (e.g., Human or animal feces, urine, vomit, etc.);
-
Hoarding or abandoned/condemned properties;
-
Properties without electricity or water.
Introductory Offer Terms
Introductory promotions are available to new clients when scheduled with a recurring cleaning plan. If the recurring service is canceled before the first recurring cleaning occurs, the discount will be removed and the difference between the promotional rate and the standard rate will be charged.
How to Prepare for Your Cleaning
To provide the highest quality cleaning, we ask that you:

Declutter: Please put away loose papers, toys, and items that inhibit cleaning surfaces.

Dishes: Please ensure dishes are put away. If we must clean a sink full of dishes, we reserve the right to charge an extra $25 for the additional time.

Pets: Ensure your vacuum is accessible (though we bring our own). If there is pet urine in a room, we will not use a Honeycomb Home Cleaning vacuum in that area.

Linens: Please clear beds and lay out fresh sheets if you wish for them to be changed.
Payment
Honeycomb Home Cleaning requires a credit/debit card on file at the time of booking. By providing this, you authorize us to charge your card for services outlined during scheduling.

We have a “no pay/no clean” policy.

For new customers, we reserve the right to place a hold or charge on your card the morning before service.

We do not accept cash or checks.

Declined cards may incur a $50 service charge.
Prepay & Save Program Terms

Discounts: 3 months (4%), 6 months (7%), or 12 months (11% with rate lock).

Non-Refundable: All prepayments are non-refundable. If service is canceled, the balance remains as a credit on your account.

Rate Lock: 12-month prepayments lock in your rate for that term, provided the scope of work remains the same.
Technology & Communication
You will receive an automated reminder email three days before service and a text the day before.

GPS Tracking: Our technicians clock in/out via software that registers GPS coordinates to ensure safety and accurate hourly billing.

SMS: You can cancel SMS alerts at any time by texting “STOP”. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Working in Your Home & Safety

Distractions: We ask that technicians be allowed to work without distractions (children, pets, etc.). If distractions significantly slow the process, we reserve the right to charge for extra time.

Safety: If a technician feels their personal safety is in danger due to the client, guests, or animals, they will leave immediately, and the client will be liable for the full cost of the service.

Illegal Activity: If a technician encounters illegal activity, they will leave immediately, the client will be charged in full, and we reserve the right to report the activity to law enforcement.
Breakage and Liability

Limits: If an item is broken by a technician, we will pay up to $100 per item or replacement cost when the value is verifiable.

Exclusions: We assume no liability for items not hung securely, unstable bases, or items of extreme sentimental value. We recommend moving such items to a secure location (like a master closet) before we arrive.

Blinds: We only dry dust blinds. We are not liable for strings or slats that break due to age, brittleness, or incorrect installation.
Our Guarantee
We want you to be absolutely delighted! Report any concerns to our office at (661) 669-7538 within 24 hours. We will return and re-clean the area(s) of concern at no cost to you.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
